The PREMIUM X-Treme Reeds are from Teflon. Teflon has a very low coefficient of friction, which makes it much more moisture resistant (hydrophobic). PREMIUM X-Treme Reeds are moisture resistant, and as such will provide longer playing periods.
The tongues are made from carbon fibre, one of the strongest and most lightweight materials available on the market today. The carbon fibre tongues will give you a tailored, stable and rich tone.
